At Wookey Primary School, we are proud to have our own preschool called Little Acorns, providing places from 3 years old, with our settling-in period tailored to meet each child's individual needs. Originally an independently managed playgroup, we have been inspiring the youngest members of our community to learn, laugh and grow for over 30 years. Now, our curriculum is written so that the learning, values and language used in our preschool are fully integrated into our Early Years plans, ensuring children's progress is planned and monitored from the day they start with us.

The children at Little Acorns use the playground, join in with weekly celebration assemblies and enjoy learning time with our older children. They are very comfortable in school with the environment, people and systems.
