Our vision statement is ‘Together we learn and grow’, which encapsulates our view that success as a school is achieved only through engagement of all stakeholders; children, staff, parents and governors. This vision statement was reviewed in 2016 and after full consultation our four core values of ‘engagement’, ‘independence’, ‘respect’ and ‘active learning’ were agreed, and it is these four values which guide us on our continuing journey at Wookey. 

Achieving the best outcomes in terms of our core values in our children is achieved through an approach that takes the best practise and principles of Early Years Education and applies them in all year groups to support all children in achieving their best possible progress. 

In a nutshell we believe that all children should be taught in the way that they learn best and presented with an aspirational curriculum that shows them all their possible futures and empowers them to achieve their full potential. 

It is pleasing that our clear view of what we want to achieve here at Wookey is recognised by parents, and it is that which is resulting in our good reputation and resultant popularity.
