Happy New Year everyone!
It hasn't been a sparkling start to 2024 weather-wise, and I could have driven home yesterday in a boat! However, my return to work this week has certainly been an enjoyable one. I have also checked the weather forecast for the weekend and I think we can finally say 'here comes the sun!' The lovely welcome that I have received from the children, and from so many parents, has been truly heartwarming. It felt like I was starting a new job on my first day back, which was strange, but things have quickly returned to normal, whatever that is...!
I know that Mrs Davies and the rest of the staff have been working hard to keep things moving forward in my absence, and I must thank them all for the amazing job that they have done.
I have been introduced to several new members of staff this week, and it has been lovely to welcome them to the team. Many of you might have had the pleasure of meeting them already, but if you haven't, you will doubtless at some point meet our new Teaching Assistants, Mrs Minton and Miss Ham.
