At the end of another term, it is nice to reflect on what has gone well, and having been on a number of school trips recently myself, I can share with you first-hand experience of the outstanding behaviour that your children have shown when they have been on these trips. They have really been a credit to the school.
School trips are still a bit of a novelty, as we had several years when they were not possible, but they seem to be coming thick and fast at the moment! Straight after Easter we have 'Field to Food' at the Bath and West Showground, and we have several cricket-themed visits coming up soon too, details of which will be shared with you after the Easter break.
If you haven't yet signed up for sports clubs, including Cross Country Club for after Easter, please do so via Scopay. Please be aware that all clubs need to be rebooked for the summer term. I am also pleased to announce that STEM club for children in Year 1-3, run by Vantage Education, will commence after Easter, as we have enough children for the club to be viable. There are still a few places available in what will be a very exciting club. If you haven't signed up and are interested, please click here for further information, and once you have signed up on Scopay please fill in this form.

If you are entitled to Pupil Premium we are able to discount the cost of paid after-school clubs (not after school care though). Please speak to the office if you would like more information. Lego club will also be running again. - please click here to book places on this one.
In response to a couple of requests for information regarding our INSET days for next 2024/25, I am happy to share the draft dates with you now. Please be aware that they are not confirmed yet, as they need to be approved by our Governors at the next meeting, but I do not expect them to change. As soon as they are formally approved, I will let you know.

Finally, I hope that the rain stays away for the WSA cake sale after school today. Thank you once again to our amazing WSA members for the brilliant work that they do to support the children of Wookey Primary School. Have a great Easter everyone and I look forward to seeing you in two weeks!
