Christmas Week 2018

As we approach the end of the last week of the Christmas term it is the ideal opportunity to reflect on all the lovely festive events of the past few weeks. Christmas parties are in full swing in the classes today and we are all preparing for another ‘Great Wookey Bake off’ tomorrow. We have seen great support from parents and families at our Christmas Church Service today and at our recent KS1 Christmas performances, as well as at the WSA Christmas Fayre last Friday when we raised around £1000 for the children. Our youngest children also put on an amazing show for parents in our playgroup Christmas play. This week we have also had our delicious school Christmas Lunch, provided by The French Kitchen for the first time. We have even managed to squeeze in a visit from Father Christmas, when he presented all the children (and the teachers) with a lovely Christmas gift.

It has certainly been an action packed few weeks and we could not have done it without the support of the parents and families of Wookey Primary School. I want to take this opportunity to thank you all, as well as to thank the amazing staff team here for their incredible work throughout the year.

I hope you all have a peaceful Christmas and I look forward to seeing you again on Tuesday January 8th 2019.
