Reading with your child.
Studies have shown that children who read regularly make greater progress in their education than those who do not. At Wookey School we ask parents to support their children by hearing them read at least 3 times a week. For fluent readers we ask our parents to ensure their children read independently at least 3 times a week and that they talk with them about what they are reading.
