Starting School
If your child is due to start school you are advised to read the Somerset Primary Admissions Guide carefully before making your application. This includes everything you need to know in order to make your school place application. Applications are made through the online portal on the Somerset County Council website.
In Year Admissions
Somerset County Council is our Admissions Authority. We can process admissions to year groups that are under our Planned Admission Number (PAN) of 15, but if a year group is at or above PAN, applications have to be agreed by Somerset County Council.
